BRANDPOINT - DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

In this position, I work on our internal marketing team to create useful content for our audience to drive MQLs and retain current clients. My main focus is social media. I write and schedule posts, monitor KPIs and respond to any inquiries from social channels. At Brandpoint we mainly focus on LinkedIn but I also utilize Facebook and Instagram. Aside from social media, I offer campaign support and ideation, planning and execution of events and sponsorships and any general marketing content support needed.

BRANDPOINT - ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

During my first six months at Brandpoint, I've enjoyed aiding the sales team in outreach initiatives and sales support. I've driven client interaction by building out customized sell sheets for agency clients to help them understand their Brandpoint partnership story. I've worked with the Marketing team to get the Coordinated Outreach Program going and helped the sales team utilize Salesloft. I track expiring articles and try to ensure their use before contract end and have communicated with various clients. I'm currently working toward taking on more sales responsibilities and working with my own client base.

TOMMIEMEDIA - ADVERTISING SALES DIRECTOR

I finished my time at TommieMedia with a final leadership role in which my coworker and I oversaw the merger between Tommie Communications, St. Thomas' student-run advertising agency, and TommieMedia's advertising and public relations team, to form TMCreative. We mentored a group of seven students, mostly Freshman, while also selling advertisements, reconstructing our media kit, coordinating public relations campaigns and creating content for social and digital advertisements.

SYNERGETIC ENDEAVORS - INTERN

Synergetic Endeavors is a communication firm rooted in political advocacy. I gained a lot of experience working with clients and learning the ins and outs of grassroots movements. The highlight of my time at Synergetic was working for the Amy Klobuchar campaign as she attempted to win the Democratic presidential nomination. My work also required a lot of event planning, cold calling, extensive client background research and website updating.

VALLEYFAIR - MARKETING INTERN

I acquired and further developed so many skills through this internship. At Valleyfair, I had the freedom to take control of my internship experience. I wrote blogs for the internal site, took photos and videos of events to create promotional videos and graphics using Adobe platforms, ran social media accounts, especially Instagram, monitored the social accounts using Sprout, and analyzed campaign statistics. This position was instrumental in allowing me to put my skills into practice.

TOMMIEMEDIA - PR DIRECTOR

For three consecutive semesters I worked at TommieMedia in advertising and public relations positions. As the PR Director, I strategized a new marketing campaign centered around March Madness that engaged students across campus, oversaw several advertising sales, collaborated with our graphic designer, scouted new business and created a weekly newsletter. This position really aided me in my leadership skills. But after being the PR Director for a semester, I transitioned to Columnist, where I could write more and explore topics I was passionate about. I love challenging myself and trying out new things, so it was fun taking on that position.
